Poem #2; Miracles

Maybe then miracles do come true.

How you left me,

Cold and isolated.

How I cried through the nights.

Wishing upon every shooting star,

That you came back to me.

And when you finally did;

On one of such hushed nights.

I couldn’t believe my kismet.

Was it a fortunate stroke of serendipity?

Or you came to bring another storm in my life?

I didn’t know.

But I knew one thing.

This wasn’t the miracle.

When you stood in front of me,

In flesh and blood.

Being your breath-taking self.

The miracle happened when,

You stood in front of me

And I didn’t feel a thing.
