Poem #17; Fusion

It seems like I cannot fathom it into words.

The day you came to me and asked my name

I couldn’t and can’t

Believe my fate

A lucky star just shot across my sombre sky.

You grew within me,

A poisonous weed, they said.

For it could eventually bring unforeseen, yet very much predictable consequences.

And I knew what they said was true and I know one day we might eventually give up on us,

But I will never let go of the time we had,

Our days together,

Under the blue sky,

Which serves as the only witness, and

Hopefully inspiring another

‘Un-united’ lovers to love,

To live,

In the moment,

Without guilt.
